Thomson TV invests Rs 150 crore, plans to launch new manufacturing unit in Noida
Thomson now plans to enter the premium segment of 4k televisions and plans to launch its new premium TV models, bigger than the already existing models.
Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale: Thomson has announced heavy discounts on all its TV models, including the new 50 and 55 4k UHD TV sets. The four-day Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale for TV & Appliances category is starting on 10 October when the brand will offer full smart TVs for a price starting from 12,499 and 4k TVs from Rs 16,999.
Announcing the offers, Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO SPPL, Exclusive Brand Licensee of Thomson in India, said: “The feedback we get from the customers has been positive they’re now waiting for some exciting deals, and this year we are all set to offer a great set of deals to cater our customers.”
He added: “Flipkart is our exclusive strategic partner with Thomson. We will be offering some great deals and new offers on one of the most affordable 4 k TVs in India.”

Thomson is targeting to sell more than 100,000 units this Diwali season.
Earlier this year, Thomson made a comeback to the Indian TV market after almost 15 years.
The brand has already introduced its non-smart range. Currently, its line-up ranges products from 24 inches to 50 inches in both smart and non -smart categories. Thomson has also recently introduced its bigger range of 50 and 55 4k TVs.
